Greetings! The summer has been good to us here in Eastern Oklahoma, not too hot nor too humid. The garden which my family survives from gives us a bounty of fresh food to enjoy. It is time to rejuvenate the soil and prepare for a fall/winter harvest to continue to produce to sustain my family! Not unlike my garden, I need rejuvenation, also.

I find rejuvenation in dance. I find rejuvenation in the rhythm & beat of music. I find rejuvenation in the strengthening of my body. I awaken the ancient memories within me like the seeds I plant in my garden, to grow and produce a bounty of sustenance.

2 more  Fort Smith, AR August workshops: August 17 & August 31. These will be held at Fit 2Gether Training Center 808 N. 32nd St. See the event page for more information.

Starting in September weekly classes!!! Tuesday mornings 9:30 - 10:45 & Wednesday evenings 6:30 - 8:00. See the event page for more information.

Something I need to work on is choreography! When a song starts to play over the radio my body moves so fluid but when it comes to purposefully choreographing a piece of music, I come up blank with so many redos, that nothing seems to BE right. A hope for my Self is the rejuvenation of the choreography seed, that it may unfold an abundance of material to pass onto the women who choose to attend the workshops & classes I offer.

May you constantly find the rhythm of life! Shimmy on...
